Makingstories

Along with humor and engaging audiences, it's a challenge to offer a diverse audience a message that will resonate and leave them with gifts for their journey ahead.

Here's an example of a storied approach to this challenge. A collage of stories is used to offer students three gifts for their journey (judgment, compassion, and mercy).

I believe that the only way to get through a speech of any kind is to have the confidence, find some sort of inspiration in order to get through the speech without loosing your voice and thoughts.

I had to perform a speech to enable me to get in the police force. I did a speech on the rolling stones, and even though I knew about the group inside out I was shaking and sweaty. I am a confident person and am used to speaking in front of people, but what made it worse was the fact I really wanted the job!
